Machine Learning for Code and Documentation
This research project at McGill University under the supervision of Dr. Jin Guo in the McGill Software Technology Lab seeks to critically assess the current capabilities and limitations of ML-based documentation generation tools. By focusing on the generation of pertinent and high-quality information, the project aims to enhance the utility of these tools for developers, ultimately leading to more efficient and effective software engineering practices. The success of this project could lead to more context-aware machine learning solutions that align closely with the nuanced needs of software engineers.

Mutual Cognitive Human-Robot Collaborative Manufacturing System 基於人機互認知的機械人協作製造系統
An Research and Entrepreneurship project aims to improve collaboration between humans and robots in the manufacturing industry through harnessing technologies such as cognitive Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR). The system combines robots’ high levels of accuracy, reliability, and repeatability with humans’ flexibility and adaptability to optimise productivity for various manufacturing assembly tasks in a shared workspace, made by PolyU’s Research Group of AI for Industrial Digital Servitization (RAIDS).

Meta-Reinforcement Learning Based Control Approach for Assisting Human-Robot Collaboration in Personalized Production
A Research Project utilized MAML-based 5-step PPO to improve robot’s productivity in HRC by about 75% on average. It aims to enable collaborative robots (cobots) to acquire basic skills and perform tasks based on personalised production requirements, made by KWOK Hin Chi , LI Chengxi, PANG Yat Ming, ZHENG Pai.
