Biography

  • Welcome to my website. Hello World from 🌏 22.3193° 114.1694° đź‘‹
  • đź” I consider myself a proactive learner who is continuously exploring the realms of Trustworthy AI, Optimization, Statistical Machine Learning, and LLMs. I am grateful to have been recognized with some awards in innovation and technology, which I view as collective achievements. My practical experience in Software Development has been shaped by opportunities to work alongside knowledgeable teams at reputable institutions and companies. These experiences have nurtured my ability to blend technical proficiency with a research-oriented mindset to navigate and contribute to complex projects within Enterprise Computing and Digital Servitization. I am always keen to learn from others and strive to bring a thoughtful, team-oriented approach to my work.
  • ✍️ I strongly believe that the 3Cs - CURIOSITY, CHALLENGE, and CHANGE - will shape my future, help me achieve my goals, and positively impact my community. I am passionate about using technology to solve real-life problems (with human contextual understanding), and I am here to share my journey of rediscovering my passion for STEM. Despite facing gender stereotypes and societal expectations from selecting IT as my career before, I pursue my CURIOSITY and participate in research projects and competitions. I embrace CHALLENGES, seek innovative solutions, and am actively involved in academic exchanges and entrepreneurship. I hope to make positive CHANGES to our community, and inspire others to pursue a career in STEM.
Acknowledge not just success; sometimes failure is the motivation that drives you improvement and is surely worth remembering. Take them with a grain of salt.
  • Did not receive the D. H. Chen Foundation Scholarship 2021.
  • Did not receive the Jockey Club Scholarship 2021.
  • Did not receive the HSBC HK Scholarship 2023.
  • Criticized by various people for my decisions (Decisions aren’t black-and-white. You always gain and loss at the same time. With that being said, evaulate problems case-by-case. If you’re determined and has optimized your decision based on your circumstances, trust your ego (Freud’s theory), or in other words, intuition; take opinions with critical thinking—responsbility for yourself :))
Miscellaneous

Whole-person development is important, ensure you are living life both mentally and physically healthy :) The most important thing I value is being your unique self, love what you are working on and not conforming to others blindly.

University Academic Management System (UAMS)
This is a project (IEOR215) at UC Berkeley, made by Hin Chi Kwok, Gilberto Yarritu, Zixuan Huangfu, Yi Fang and Yu-Heng Ch. The university currently utilizes several disjointed systems for its academic management needs. This fragmentation leads to inefficiencies in academic record maintenance, scheduling, and resource management, making the processes cumbersome and error-prone. The proposed University Academic Management System (UAMS) aims to centralize and streamline the management of academic records, course scheduling, faculty assignments, and classroom allocations. By doing so, UAMS will ensure higher data integrity, improve accessibility, and enhance the decision-making capabilities of academic administrators.
